Packers place Micah Parsons on reserve PUP list to start season

The Green Bay Packers officially placed defensive end Micah Parsons on the regular season physically unable to perform list on August 30. The move keeps Parsons out of the lineup for at least the first four games of the regular season while he continues recovering from an ACL tear sustained in December. Parsons previously spent training camp on the PUP list and has been targeting a potential return in October. He noted earlier this month that the Week 6 game against the Dallas Cowboys serves as his most optimistic return target.
