The Green Bay Packers officially moved Micah Parsons to the reserve/physically unable to perform list on Sunday. This transaction rules the All-Pro pass rusher out for at least the first four games of the 2026 season. Parsons is continuing his recovery from a torn ACL and meniscus injury suffered against the Denver Broncos on December 14 of last year. While team officials prioritize a cautious approach to his return, reports suggest an optimistic target for his comeback could be the Week 6 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys. The Packers must now manage their defensive front during the initial stretch of the season without one of their top performers. Parsons, who arrived in Green Bay via trade, recorded 12.5 sacks in 14 games during his first season with the organization.
- •Micah Parsons will miss at least the first four games of the 2026 season.
- •The move to the reserve/PUP list follows his recovery from an ACL and meniscus injury.
- •Parsons may return as early as Week 6 against the Dallas Cowboys.
- •The Packers opted not to rush the recovery process for their lead pass rusher.
