Packers place right tackle Zach Bako-Bewele on injured reserve

The Packers placed right tackle Zach Bako-Bewele on injured reserve following a torn patellar tendon sustained in Week 2 against the Jets. Bako-Bewele underwent surgery and is expected to face an 8-10 month recovery period. In response, the team signed veteran offensive guard Laken Tomlinson from the Cowboys' practice squad and added Mekhi Becton to the practice squad as well, waiving defensive tackle Eric Johnson II. Tomlinson has previous experience with multiple NFL teams while Becton aims to bounce back from his last stint with the Chargers.
