Packers prepare for Buccaneers with backup quarterback starting

The Green Bay Packers face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday with Jalon Daniels set to start at quarterback due to Baker Mayfield's absence. The Buccaneers' offense has struggled, ranking 30th in explosive play rate and 31st in expected points added per pass. Packers defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon must decide whether to aggressively attack the inexperienced Daniels or adopt a conservative approach. Three keys to the game for the Packers’ defense include avoiding chaos with Daniels, improving tackling against the Buccaneers’ rushing attack, and executing better in critical moments like third downs and the red zone. The matchup poses an opportunity for the Packers' defense to rebound from recent struggles against the Atlanta Falcons.
