Packers sign long snapper Cal Adomitis, waive Lenny Krieg and Brenden Rice

The Packers announced the signing of long snapper Cal Adomitis and wide receiver Kaden Prather on July 31, 2026. In conjunction with these moves, kicker Lenny Krieg has been released, while wide receiver Brenden Rice has been waived/injured. Adomitis joins Green Bay after playing nine games for the Eagles last season and spending time on the Steelers' practice squad. Prather was previously a seventh-round pick and participated in the UFL championship this spring. Krieg was brought in to compete for the kicking role following his earlier signing, and Rice was on the non-football injury list since joining from the Raiders in May.
