Paddy Pimblett denies current negotiations for a fight against Ilia Topuria

UFC lightweight Paddy Pimblett has confirmed that no discussions have occurred regarding a potential matchup with Ilia Topuria. Despite ongoing public speculation about a fight between the two, Pimblett stated he has not been approached by organizers to finalize any such bout. The British fighter is currently ranked #5 in the division and expressed a desire to return to the octagon by December. Pimblett indicated that he remains open to facing several other high-ranked opponents, including Arman Tsarukyan, Justin Gaethje, Mauricio Ruffy, or Charles Oliveira. He emphasized that any confirmed fight details would be public once the organization formally assigns his next opponent. Pimblett has been in a period of inactivity since his victory over Benoit Saint Denis in Las Vegas this past July.
