Padres place Miguel Andujar on injured list, call up Nick Solak

The San Diego Padres have placed Miguel Andujar on the 10-day injured list due to a left hamstring strain. Andujar sustained the injury while trying to beat out an infield hit against the New York Mets on June 7. He is the primary right-handed designated hitter for the Padres and has had a solid season, batting.254 with 5 home runs and 17 RBI. In his place, the team has called up Nick Solak from Triple-A El Paso, where he was performing well with a.333 batting average, 9 home runs, and 40 RBI in 54 games.
