The San Diego Padres announced Ramon Laureano has been placed on the 10-day injured list due to right hip inflammation, retroactive to May 31. Laureano's absence comes as the Padres face the Philadelphia Phillies, having recently been swept in a home series against them. While Laureano's hitting has not been exceptional this season, he remains a key defensive player for the Padres.
