Pakistan replaces seven players and coaching staff during England test series

Pakistan has released seven players and two coaches from its squad ahead of the final Test at Edgbaston. The move follows a 194-run loss at Lord's that resulted in an unassailable 2-0 series lead for England in the ICC World Test Championship. Players Mohammad Rizwan, Imam-ul-Haq, Salman Ali Agha, Ali Usman, Khurram Shahzad, Aamir Jamal, and Muhammad Awais Zafar were sent home. Head coach Sarfaraz Ahmed and bowling coach Umar Gul were also relieved of their duties. Mike Hesson and Ashley Noffke will take over coaching responsibilities for the remainder of the cycle. The incoming replacements include five uncapped players alongside Saim Ayub and Abdullah Fazal as the team prepares for the final match of the tour.
