Panthers add QB Kyle Trask and waive two players

The Carolina Panthers signed quarterback Kyle Trask on August 9, following the injury of rookie Haynes King during the Hall of Fame Game. Trask, a former second-round pick, previously played with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and spent part of last season on the Atlanta Falcons' practice squad. The team also waived wide receiver Malick Meiga and outside linebacker Nick Hampton as part of their roster adjustments.
