Panthers agree to one-year deal with Pro Bowl TE Darren Waller

Summary

The Carolina Panthers have reportedly reached an agreement with tight end Darren Waller on a one-year contract. Waller, a former Pro Bowler known for his impactful seasons with the Oakland/Las Vegas Raiders, joins the Panthers after a stint with the Miami Dolphins. He had a productive 2025 season, accumulating 24 receptions, 283 receiving yards, and six touchdowns over nine games. The Panthers' tight end group has lacked production, with none of the current players recording over 350 receiving yards in their careers. Waller's addition is anticipated to bolster the team’s offensive options.
