Panthers host Lions in Sunday Night Football matchup in Week 4

Summary

The Carolina Panthers (1-2) face the Detroit Lions (2-1) tonight at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina, for Sunday Night Football in Week 4. Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs has been a standout player with 463 scrimmage yards and six touchdowns this season. Meanwhile, Panthers quarterback Bryce Young is averaging 313 passing yards per game, with improvements evident in his performance. However, both teams face challenges: the Lions' secondary has struggled, allowing the most passing yards, and the Panthers have placed starting cornerbacks Jaycee Horn and Mike Jackson on injured reserve, impacting their defense.
