Panthers linked to potential trade for Vita Vea from Buccaneers

The Carolina Panthers are mentioned as a possible trade destination for Vita Vea, a defensive star from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Vea has expressed a desire to leave Tampa Bay amid contract extension delays. ESPN's Jeremy Fowler highlighted the Panthers among five potential landing spots for Vea, citing their familiarity with his play and current needs on defense. The Panthers are dealing with multiple injuries on their defensive line ahead of the upcoming season, which could make the addition of Vea appealing, despite traditional reluctance to facilitate intradivision trades.
