Panthers offense struggles in preseason debut against Bills

In their first preseason game, the Carolina Panthers' starting offense managed only 12 yards and no first downs in a loss to the Buffalo Bills. Head coach Dave Canales expressed disappointment, stating the team failed to earn extra reps due to their lackluster performance. Quarterback Bryce Young completed three of five passes for 18 yards, under constant pressure, while running back Jonathon Brooks had limited success with three yards on five carries. The absence of starters Damien Lewis and Robert Hunt likely contributed to the struggles up front. The Panthers will look to improve in their next game on August 18 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
