Panthers place offensive lineman Brady Christensen on injured reserve

The Carolina Panthers placed offensive lineman Brady Christensen on injured reserve Tuesday due to a hamstring injury. This move forces Christensen to miss at least the first four games of the regular season. The veteran previously missed the end of his 2025 campaign following a torn Achilles but had participated in team activities throughout the preseason. His roster spot was filled by linebacker Bobby Okereke, whose one-year contract became official Monday. Okereke joins the team after spending the previous three years with the New York Giants. The 30-year-old linebacker also played four seasons with the Indianapolis Colts, who selected him in the third round of the draft.
