Panthers receive a 'B' grade after strong start to 2026 season

Summary

The Carolina Panthers have surprised many by leading the NFL in passing yards after the first month of the 2026 season. Quarterback Bryce Young has emerged as a standout, ranking first in passing yards and among the top performers in several metrics. Despite the offense’s success, the defense has struggled, especially with injuries affecting key players. Analysts grade the team's performance as a 'B' while noting upcoming challenges, including games against top teams like the Philadelphia Eagles and the Denver Broncos. The Panthers currently share the NFC South lead with the Atlanta Falcons, who have the league's most productive offense since their quarterback's return.
