Panthers rookie Haynes King named NFL's early preseason MVP

Carolina Panthers quarterback Haynes King has been recognized as the NFL's early preseason MVP by ESPN. King, who is an undrafted rookie and currently the Panthers' QB3, led his team to a 33-30 preseason victory over the Arizona Cardinals in the Hall of Fame Game, scoring a game-winning touchdown run as time expired. He completed 21 of 34 passes for 180 yards and threw two touchdowns without any interceptions. His performance showcased his rushing capabilities, having previously been a standout at Georgia Tech, where he earned the ACC Offensive Player of the Year honors.
