Panthers seek trade for Solomon Thomas amid defensive struggles

The Carolina Panthers are facing critical injury issues in their secondary as they prepare for a matchup against the Detroit Lions. Cornerbacks Jaycee Horn and Mike Jackson have been placed on injured reserve, leaving the defense thin. With the team already struggling at 1-2, there are calls for the Panthers to acquire Solomon Thomas from the Tennessee Titans. Thomas, a former No. 3 overall pick, has minimal playing time this season but could provide much-needed depth. The Panthers are also addressing roster gaps by signing players from the practice squad. They have a challenging schedule ahead, necessitating immediate action to improve their defensive capabilities.
