The Carolina Panthers plan to sign quarterback Kyle Trask following the injury of Haynes King during the Hall of Fame Game. King suffered a hamstring injury and is considered week-to-week. Trask previously worked out for the Panthers and has experience under head coach Dave Canales from their time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. After being released by the Buccaneers, Trask spent time on the Atlanta Falcons' practice squad last season. The Panthers are expected to finalize the signing for the upcoming practice week.
