Panthers set to welcome back Trevor Etienne from injured reserve

The Carolina Panthers may see the return of running back Trevor Etienne soon. Expected to be activated after recovering from a high-ankle sprain, Etienne aims to rejoin the team ahead of their Week 6 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. His return coincides with the news that fellow running back Jonathon Brooks will undergo surgery for a groin issue and is expected to miss six to eight weeks. With Brooks sidelined, veteran AJ Dillon will back up starter Chuba Hubbard, while Anthony "Tre" Tyus III will be elevated from the practice squad for the upcoming game against the Cleveland Browns.
