Panthers sign Cam Gill and Derrell Bailey ahead of training camp

The Carolina Panthers announced the signing of outside linebacker Cam Gill and rookie offensive tackle Derrell Bailey on July 24. Gill returns to the Panthers following an ACL injury to Nic Scourton, who was placed on injured reserve. Gill previously played for the Panthers in 2024 and was recognized as the UFL's 2026 Defensive Player of the Year. Bailey, a 6-foot-6, 320-pound lineman from Georgia State, was among six players who worked out for the team prior to his signing.
