Panthers' three rookies rank among NFL's top 100 for 2026 season

The Carolina Panthers feature three draft picks in the NFL's top 100 rookies list for the 2026 season, as highlighted by Bleacher Report. Zakee Wheatley, a fifth-round pick and safety, stands out at No. 89 after an impressive Hall of Fame Game with eight tackles and a forced fumble. Second-round pick Lee Hunter ranks No. 42, valued for his potential as a two-down contributor amid competition for starting spots. First-round offensive tackle Monroe Freeling is listed at No. 28, stepping in at right tackle due to Taylor Moton’s injury. These selections are expected to contribute to the Panthers' efforts following a playoff berth in 2025.
