The Carolina Panthers are identified as the ideal destination for Zach Ertz, a three-time Pro Bowl pass catcher. Grant Gordon from NFL.com notes that with the Panthers lacking receiving production from their tight ends, Ertz could provide a much-needed boost. He is expected to be cleared for the upcoming 2026 NFL season, following a recovery from an ACL injury. The Panthers' tight ends recorded only 56 catches last season, while Ertz had 50 catches with Washington in 2025. Adding Ertz would support quarterback Bryce Young's development in a crucial year for the team.
