Panthers waive two wide receivers and add two new ones

The Carolina Panthers made roster changes Tuesday during training camp. They waived wide receivers Gabriel Benyard and Ainias Smith, the latter being waived with an injury designation. To fill the spots, the team signed Roc Taylor, a former All-AAC selection from Memphis, and Elijah Cooks, who has previously played for multiple NFL teams. Additionally, defensive lineman LaBryan Ray was placed on the reserve/retired list after three seasons with the Panthers.
