Jaguars general manager James Gladstone indicated that he is open to continuing discussions throughout the season, citing previous extensions for Jakobi Meyers and Cole Van Lanen as evidence of the team's flexibility. Washington stated he remains focused on his role as a primary target for quarterback Trevor Lawrence and expressed a mutual desire to reach an agreement.
