Parkway distance runner Brennan Robin commits to Oklahoma State

Parkway high school runner Brennan Robin announced his commitment to join the Oklahoma State cross country program. Robin plans to sign with the top-ranked NCAA team in November. The Shreveport-Bossier standout holds local records in both the 1,600 and 3,200-meter events and previously achieved a time of 8:46 at the Running Lane National Championships. Robin attributed his choice to the program's culture and the team's long-term development strategy. He will conclude his remaining fall cross country and spring track seasons at Parkway before moving to Stillwater. His coach, Kent Falting, identified Robin as the No. 6 overall recruit in his class based on his track performance.
