Pat McAfee joins ESPN's Monday Night Countdown for NFL season

Pat McAfee will join the cast of ESPN's 'Monday Night Countdown' this NFL season. Announced on August 19, 2026, McAfee's role expands his presence, joining Scott Van Pelt, Jason Kelce, Marcus Spears, and Jason McCourty on the show. He will replace Ryan Clark as part of ESPN's programming strategy leading up to Super Bowl LXI, simulcast from SoFi Stadium on February 14, 2027.
