Pat Surtain drops to second-best cornerback in Madden NFL 27 rankings

In the latest Madden NFL 27 rankings, Denver Broncos cornerback Pat Surtain is rated as the second-best cornerback, falling behind New England Patriots cornerback Christian Gonzales, who is now at a 98 overall rating. Surtain, who was the top-rated cornerback in the previous version, remains at a 97 overall after missing several games during the 2025 season due to a pectoral injury. Denver's Garett Bolles and Quinn Meinerz also rank highly among offensive linemen, positioned third and seventh, respectively. Meanwhile, outside linebacker Nik Bonitto is recognized among the top pass rushers after a strong season with 14 sacks. Full rankings of players will be disclosed later this week, with the game set to release on August 13.
