Patrick Sandoval strikes out four in rehab appearance for Sea Dogs

Patrick Sandoval made a rehab appearance for the Portland Sea Dogs against the Patriots on June 17. He struck out four batters and allowed only one hit, a home run. However, the Sea Dogs fell to the Patriots 5-4 in extra innings, failing to capitalize on scoring opportunities and striking out 14 times throughout the game. The Sea Dogs are managing an ongoing struggle with offense, demonstrated by their inability to respond in the tenth inning after conceding a run. Sandoval’s return comes as Portland looks to improve their performance after multiple tough losses.
