Patriots audition edge rushers ahead of Bills matchup

The New England Patriots conducted tryouts for outside linebackers Victor Dimukeje and Eric Watts on Tuesday ahead of their Week 4 game against the Buffalo Bills. Although neither player was signed, the team seeks to bolster its edge rushers. Dimukeje, a former sixth-round pick, has had stints with the Cardinals and Giants, while Watts, a rookie free agent in 2024, played for the Jets. The Patriots currently hold four edge defenders on their roster and two on the practice squad. They travel to Buffalo for a 1 p.m. ET kickoff.
