Patriots’ Christian Gonzalez, Carlton Davis III to face DK Metcalf in Week 2

The New England Patriots are set to host the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 2 of the NFL season. A key matchup features cornerbacks Christian Gonzalez and Carlton Davis III against Steelers wide receiver DK Metcalf. This matchup is particularly intriguing as Gonzalez has previously shut down Metcalf, despite their last encounter being missed due to injury. Metcalf's size and skill make him a significant challenge, especially in zone coverage, while Gonzalez aims to limit his production through man coverage. Carlton Davis III may also have opportunities to match up with Metcalf if the game situation changes.
