Patriots claim Tejhaun Palmer off waivers from Cardinals, waive Jeremiah Franklin

The New England Patriots have claimed wide receiver Tejhaun Palmer off waivers from the Arizona Cardinals. The move was made on August 4, 2026, in conjunction with waiving tight end Jeremiah Franklin. Palmer joins the Patriots after spending two seasons primarily on the Cardinals' practice squad. In his brief NFL tenure, he saw action in one game during the 2025 season. Franklin, a rookie out of Boston College, signed with the Patriots earlier this summer and contributed in practice but did not make the final roster. The Patriots currently have 12 wide receivers on their depth chart as they prepare for continued training camp practices.
