Patriots consider Jamal Adams for linebacker role in free agency

Summary

The New England Patriots are exploring the possibility of signing linebacker Jamal Adams in free agency, according to reports. Following several off-season moves, including the additions of A.J. Brown and K.J. Britt, the Patriots are looking to further enhance their linebacker unit. Adams had a challenging year with the Las Vegas Raiders after switching positions from safety to linebacker, but his physical play style could provide the team with much-needed tenacity. A one-year deal is suggested as a low-risk option for New England as they aim for Super Bowl contention next season.
