The New England Patriots, who struggled with their pass rush last season, may target Las Vegas Raiders star Maxx Crosby before the trade deadline. With only 35 sacks last season and recent roster changes, including the addition of Dre'Mont Jones and the draft selection of Gabe Jacas, the Patriots are looking for ways to enhance their defense. Crosby, a five-time Pro Bowler, was previously traded to the Baltimore Ravens, but that deal fell through. If the Raiders decide to rebuild, they could trade Crosby to acquire future assets.
- •Patriots ranked near the bottom in sacks last season.
- •Crosby has 69.5 career sacks and 133 tackles for loss.
- •The Patriots may reassess their pass rush by the trade deadline.
- •Crosby was unhappy with the Ravens trade falling through.
- •Raiders might leverage Crosby for future assets as they rebuild.
