The New England Patriots conducted their seventh training camp practice on August 1, 2026. During the session, the coaching staff focused on in-game simulations without scripted plays to enhance player performance. Notable participation included offseason additions Romeo Doubs and A.J. Brown, both having productive practices, while rookie pass rusher Gabe Jacas returned from the NFI list. The defense recorded interceptions by safety Dell Pettus and rookie cornerback Karon Prunty. Although quarterback Drake Maye had some miscues, he also showcased solid throws to his wide receivers.
