Patriots host former Giants guard Greg Van Roten for workout

The New England Patriots are holding a workout for Greg Van Roten, a former guard for the New York Giants, on August 6, 2026. Van Roten, who is 36 years old, played the last two seasons with the Giants, starting all 34 games during that span. The Giants released him after the 2025 season as they adjusted their offensive line, adding Sisi Mauigoa in the NFL draft, which could secure the right guard position. It remains uncertain if the Patriots will sign Van Roten, though he could serve as a valuable depth option.
