The Seahawks suffered a significant setback when starting quarterback Sam Darnold left the game with a hip injury following a sack by Dre’Mont Jones. Darnold was ruled out for the remainder of the contest, leaving Drew Lock to manage the offense for the remainder of the first half. Seattle struggled to move the ball, managing only six first downs and 120 total yards. The Patriots will receive the kickoff to begin the second half.
