Patriots place wide receiver Jeremiah Webb on injured reserve

The New England Patriots have placed wide receiver Jeremiah Webb on injured reserve, effectively ending his season just two practices into training camp. Webb, an undrafted player from the 2025 class, had briefly returned to the team after an unsuccessful bid during the previous season. The move opens a spot on the 91-man roster as the team also signs second-round pick Gabe Jacas to a four-year deal, placing him on the active/non-football injury list. Jacas joins two other players on this list and is eligible to practice during training camp.
