Patriots reject trade inquiries from contenders regarding receiver Mack Hollins

The New England Patriots turned down trade offers for veteran wide receiver Mack Hollins during the weeks preceding the 2026 NFL season. According to Albert Breer of 98.5 The Sports Hub, an unnamed contending team inquired about Hollins four or five weeks ago but was rebuffed by the organization. The Patriots currently rely on Hollins as a primary offensive target following a high-ankle sprain sustained by A.J. Brown in the season opener against the Seattle Seahawks. Hollins recorded a team-high 51 receiving yards during the 13-10 loss to Seattle. The team continues to utilize his veteran presence and physicality to stabilize the receiving corps while the roster adjusts to personnel changes. New England has indicated no intent to part with the 32-year-old receiver at this stage of the season.
