Patriots rookie Gabe Jacas records first career sack in loss to Seahawks

New England Patriots rookie Gabe Jacas recorded his first career NFL sack during a 13-10 loss to the Seattle Seahawks at Lumen Field on Wednesday. Playing 19 defensive snaps, the second-round draft pick brought down Seattle backup quarterback Drew Lock in the second quarter. Jacas also added a tackle for loss in the third quarter when he stopped running back Jadarian Price behind the line of scrimmage. The former University of Illinois linebacker finished the contest with three total tackles and one special teams penalty. Jacas missed portions of training camp while recovering from an offseason knee procedure before being activated in August. The Patriots are scheduled to host the Pittsburgh Steelers for a Week 2 game in Foxborough on Sept. 20.
