Patriots tackle Will Campbell faces pressure after rookie struggles

New England Patriots left tackle Will Campbell is under scrutiny following a challenging rookie season. After sustaining an MCL tear, Campbell returned for the playoffs but struggled, allowing 29 pressures, 14 in the Super Bowl. This performance has raised questions regarding his ability to protect quarterback Drake Maye. An offseason assessment highlights Campbell as a key player under pressure heading into the 2026 season. Patriots coach Mike Vrabel and Eliot Wolf indicated Campbell's injuries contributed to his poor performance, but his position may be reevaluated if he does not improve.
