Patriots trade offensive lineman Caedan Wallace to Dolphins

Summary

The New England Patriots have traded offensive lineman Caedan Wallace to the Miami Dolphins, finalizing the deal on August 10, 2026. Initially intending to release Wallace, the Patriots ultimately sought a trade instead, securing a 2028 sixth-round pick and sending a 2029 seventh-round pick to Miami. Drafted in the third round of the 2024 NFL Draft, Wallace struggled to find a consistent role on the team, appearing in 10 games with two starts. His departure reshapes the Patriots' offensive line as they prepare for the upcoming campaign.
