Patriots turn to third-string guard after Van Roten injury

During the second quarter of their game, New England Patriots starting right guard Greg Van Roten left with a thigh injury and is questionable to return. In his place, Walter Rouse, who transitioned from offensive tackle to guard this summer, has taken over. Van Roten was starting in place of Mike Onwenu, who was recently placed on injured reserve due to an ankle injury. The Patriots' game day lineup also includes Ben Brown and rookie Caleb Lomu on the offensive line.
