Patriots waive Jimmy Kibble hours before training camp begins

The New England Patriots waived rookie wide receiver Jimmy Kibble with an injury designation on July 24, just before the start of training camp. Kibble, who joined the team as part of the undrafted class in May, is expected to revert to injured reserve following the claims period. During his time at Georgetown, he recorded 149 receptions for 2,642 yards and 16 touchdowns, earning first-team All-Patriot League honors in 2025. With the first practice scheduled for July 25, the Patriots' wide receiver depth chart includes A.J. Brown and other players, as they prepare for the upcoming season.
