Pau Cubarsi to be available for Barcelona's match against Elche

Pau Cubarsi is set to be available for FC Barcelona's La Liga opener against Elche on Sunday, after not participating in the Joan Gamper Trophy match against Al Ahly. The decision to rest Cubarsi was a precaution following his extensive playing time at the World Cup, where he was vital for Spain's defense. He remained on the bench during the Gamper Trophy solely for workload management, with no significant physical issues reported. While he is expected to be in the squad for the match, starting options at center-back will include either Jules Kounde or Andreas Christensen.
