Pau Hana swim holds Jill Griesse Memorial for cancer research

Nearly 1,000 swimmers gathered at the Trumbull Aquatic Center on Denison University's campus this weekend for the annual Jill Griesse Memorial hosted by the Pau Hana swim club. Representing 26 teams from central Ohio and beyond, participants included rising stars from Newark, Granville, and Watkins Memorial, alongside high school graduates poised for college swimming. The event honors Pau Hana's founder, Jill Griesse, who passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2014, and has raised over $94,000 for cancer research in its history. Pau Hana club members also participate in Pelotonia each August.
