Paul Wight recalls moment he felt done as WWE performer

Paul Wight, also known as The Big Show, discussed the moment he felt his in-ring career with WWE was over. In a recent interview, Wight pointed to a specific incident during the COVID era when Vince McMahon referred to him as 'Paul' instead of his ring name. This episode occurred during his last storyline with Randy Orton, which culminated in an Unsanctioned match on 'WWE Raw.' After realizing that McMahon no longer viewed him as a talent for wrestling, Wight left WWE in 2021 and joined AEW, where he has taken on various roles, primarily as a backstage interviewer and brand ambassador, since last wrestling in early 2024.
