The Pakistan Cricket Board has removed Michael Atherton and Nasser Hussain from the commentary team for the ODI tri-series involving Pakistan, England, and Sri Lanka, starting October 18. This decision follows the backlash against Atherton's August interview with Imran Khan's sons, which addressed concerns over the former Prime Minister's health while imprisoned. Atherton and Hussain, both prominent cricket commentators, were part of the panel during England’s previous tour of Pakistan in October 2024. The PCB has not officially stated the reasons for their absence from the current commentary lineup, which includes six members and is scheduled to run until October 31.
