PDC confirms qualification pathways for 2027 World Darts Championship

The Professional Darts Corporation has outlined the qualification criteria for the 2027 World Darts Championship held at Alexandra Palace. The 128-player field will be determined through three primary pathways, including the top 40 players from the PDC Order of Merit and the top 40 from the ProTour Order of Merit who have not already qualified. An additional 48 spots are reserved for international competitors, including winners of various regional championships and tour qualifiers. Several participants have already secured their positions, such as David Cameron through the CDC Cross-Border Challenge and Adam Sevada as the North American Championship winner. Qualification routes remain subject to change if individual players earn spots through multiple categories, which would reallocate entry opportunities. The tournament is scheduled to take place this winter as the conclusion of the major darts season.
