Peninsula Seahawks secure Fish Bowl trophy with win over Gig Harbor

The Peninsula Seahawks dominated the Gig Harbor Tides in the Fish Bowl on Saturday night, winning 38-7 at Mount Tahoma High School. Quarterback Talen McDonnell threw two touchdown passes, while running back Thomas Marzano contributed two scores in the first half. This victory marks Peninsula's first win over Gig Harbor since 2022 and is also the first for head coach Clay Mauro in his two-year tenure. The Seahawks effectively contained Gig Harbor's Wing-T offense, which had previously won against them last year. Peninsula improved to 1-2 and will face Timberline in their next game on September 25.
